Tools that may be used as part of treatment
Treatment is guided by your presentation and goals. Depending on what is appropriate, care may include hands-on therapy, exercise, movement re-training and other supportive techniques.
Dry Needling
Used where appropriate to help manage pain, reduce muscle sensitivity and support movement within a broader treatment plan.
Electroacupuncture
May be used to support pain relief and symptom management as part of your overall care plan.
Massage / soft tissue work
Hands-on soft tissue treatment may be used to reduce sensitivity, improve comfort and support movement.
Spinal mobilisation
Manual therapy may be used to improve movement and reduce stiffness where relevant to your presentation.
Laser therapy
Used selectively as an adjunct where appropriate, alongside exercise, load management and other treatment strategies.
