SFMA Level 2 — Adelaide Expression of Interest for 2026

You’ve learned how to identify dysfunctional movement. Level 2 is where you learn what to do with it — with a deeper practical framework for mobility, motor control, and clinical decision-making.

This page is to gauge Adelaide interest for a possible 2026 live course. Dates are not yet confirmed.

Why consider SFMA Level 2?

Level 1 gives you a powerful system for identifying dysfunctional movement patterns.

Level 2 takes the next step: helping you turn those findings into action.

This advanced course is designed to help clinicians move beyond identifying the problem and into:

  • targeted mobility decision-making

  • more confident local biomechanical examination

  • stronger motor control intervention planning

  • clearer clinical progression from assessment to treatment

If Level 1 helped you see the pattern, Level 2 helps you respond to it.

What you’ll build on in Level 2

From findings to intervention

Use SFMA findings to guide more precise treatment decisions rather than stopping at classification.

Mobility problem-solving

Develop a more systematic process for identifying what is restricting movement and where to begin.

Motor control retraining

Build more confidence applying retraining strategies for stability and movement-control dysfunctions.

Clinical carryover

Leave with ideas you can begin integrating into real patient care, not just theory.

A possible Adelaide Level 2 course in 2026

I’m currently gauging interest from Adelaide clinicians who have already completed SFMA Level 1.

If there is enough interest, the goal would be to bring SFMA Level 2 to Adelaide in 2026 as a live, in-person course.

Submitting an expression of interest does not commit you to attend. It simply helps determine whether Adelaide has enough demand to move forward.

Who this is for

This expression of interest is for clinicians who have previously completed SFMA Level 1 and would seriously consider attending Level 2 in Adelaide if it becomes available in 2026.

This may suit:

physiotherapists

chiropractors

osteopaths

exercise professionals and other clinicians who are already SFMA Level 1 trained.

Completion of SFMA Level 1 is required before taking Level 2.

Course format

SFMA Level 2 includes advanced content designed to extend the Level 1 framework into treatment thinking and practical application.

The live course format is intended to provide:

  • a 2-day in-person learning experience

  • practical lab work

  • instructor interaction

  • access to broader course materials and certification pathway through the official provider.

For full course structure, curriculum details, and official certification information, please refer to the official Functional Movement Systems page.

Why express interest through Prepare To Perform?

I’m exploring Adelaide demand directly with clinicians who already know the SFMA system and want the next step in practical clinical application.

My goal is not simply to host a course, but to bring a high-value learning experience to Adelaide that helps clinicians integrate advanced movement reasoning into real practice.

If you’ve previously taken Level 1 with me in Adelaide, this is the best way to signal that you’d like to see Level 2 offered locally in 2026.
